Where would be without hair? The world would just be full of Uncle Festers and Telly Savalases, and Sinead O’Conner would always be People Magazine’s Sexiest Woman AND Man of the Year. Our individuality would fade overnight. So it’s no wonder that this woman decided to file a $25,000 lawsuit over a botched hair job.

(From News.com.au) — WHEN Ann Lofthouse saw the result of her haircut she burst into tears - then filed a $25,000 damages claim against her hairdresser.

The Eastwood woman said the loss of the long hair she had grown all her life and her new neck-length layered style sent her spiralling into depression.

According to the story, Mrs. Lofthouse claimed she didn’t ask for the style the hairdresser gave her, but the hairdresser claims she asked him for “suggestions.” Apparently, putting a bag over her head and calling the whole thing even wasn’t one of the available suggestions.

Mrs. Lofthouse then claims the hairdresser got fed up, pushed her down and started cutting. When she looked up, the image staring back at her sent her into shock. She was scared for life, doomed to walk the Earth with short hair. Are you reading this Somalia? I hope you know what it means to suffer now.

Mrs. Lofthouse declined to accept any settlements, an offer of $1,000 and two free blow-waves a week and a consolation payment of $750, opting instead to go after the big $25K to cover emotional and physical damages. Meanwhile, war criminals like Flowbee get off scot-free. Sleep tight.

Maybe she should check into the price of lawyers and court timelines. At 25k, I doubt that she will come out actually making money. Lawyer fees would eat that up rather fast.

never ever tell a stylist to try something new or do what they think would be best…i think everyone should do like most hair schools do and make all their customers sign a no sue release… no matter how much you hate it you cant sue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
