Patriots fans have a lot to complain about. Their coach was caught in a huge cheating scandal. Their team is has a better chance of winning Wimbledon than winning the Super Bowl. Everyone in Gillette Stadium is crying. They have every right to take on the Patriots themselves. That’s why it’s weird that a Jets fan filed this suit.
According to the Associated Press, a New York Jets fan filed a class action lawsuit against Patriots Coach Bill Belichick and the team for deceiving their customers after they were caught trying to catch signals from opposing teams with fake press photographers.
The fan, who is also a season tickets holder, is seeking $184 million on behalf of season ticket holders everywhere. Great, why do season ticket holders get all the breaks? They’re always fanning themselves with their book of tickets in the summer heat. They’re always pulling them out at the lunch table. Now they’ll be pulling out the settlement check they’ve won the minute you ask them to lunch and you’ll end up getting the check.
The lawsuit claims Jets fans should be refunded for every game played between the Jets and the Patriots at Giants Stadium back to 2000. New Orleans Saints fans have been saying the same thing since the team was founded.
