Laws take a lot of money to create. Sure it’s just something on paper, but that paper is worth thousands of dollars and the ink it took to write on that paper took even more thousands. I won’t even tell you how much the bookmark costs. Take for example this law that isn’t even on the books yet.
According to the Chicago Tribune, Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich is trying to get a law on the books that would criminalize the sale of explicit video games to minors. The law was declared unconstitutional, and it’s cost taxpayers over $1 million smackeroos.
A cool million for a law that never made it on the books? Hey, it’s not like there’s a deficit going on right now or anything.
So why such a high dinner check? It turns out the governor hired private attorneys to defend the law that gave the state a bill for nearly $450,000. What was all that for? Legal pads?
Besides the money, why in a time of war and so much concern about homeland security and public safety are we still talking about violent video games? Leave the pixelated ones out of it. If Mario wants to risk his own hide for our entertainment, that’s his business.

What’s a politician? Someone who…
1) Tries to get elected
2)Lies a lot
3)Claims he’s helping us while wasting about 200 billion$
4)Whenever all our problems are solved, makes new ones that are 400 times worse
5)Denys he was the cause and blames the other party.
