Big business gets involved

Fox News lost a lawsuit against Al Franken when they claimed he ripped off their trademarked slogan “fair and balanced”. The quote was used in the book’s subtitle “A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right”. While Fox claimed the book might lead to consumer confusion over who produced the book, the judge wisely dismissed the case quickly.

    Al Franken threatened to sue Fox “News” on their “Fair and Balanced” tagline, citing current Truth in Advertising Laws. Attorneys for Fox “News” collectively said, “Oh, Shit!” before crying and hiding.
