From “The News that’s Good If There’s Easily Manipulated Supermodels Are Involved But Bad If There’s Hairy Truck Drivers Dept. ” comes this judgment from Maryland: mooning someone will not land you in jail.

A Montgomery County Circuit Judge has ruled that mooning someone (otherwise known as dropping trow, pressing a ham or making a well thought out point with your butt) might be deplorable, “disgusting” and “demeaning” but it’s not illegal. The judgment stems from a June 7, 2005 case between two neighbors in Germantown who got into an argument. The argument came to a boil, one threatened he would “blow up [the other person's] building” and then, when the other person’s eight year old daughter walked up to them, he made his final “rebuttal.”

The butt-head went to trial and got three years for indecent exposure, but his attorney’s appealed the decision and now he’s free as a bird. Free to drive up to a church bus and press a ham against the window. There’s no justice in this world.

3 years for mooning? What an overreaction. All it deserves at most is a $200 fine. Why are people so scared of a person’s butt. A great big waste of the police and court’s time and money.
