Dangerous Pop-Tarts!

October 16th, 2005 · 26 Comments

A woman in Pennsylvania put a Pop-Tart in her toaster, forgot about it, and drove her children to school. Upon her return, she found firefighters battling a fire caused by her irresponsibility. ‘Not her fault’ she claims! She promply sued the makers of Pop-Tarts, Kelloggs, for $10,000 in damages.

How stupid can you be when it says to leave it in the toaster for a minute? I think Kellogg needs to sue her for stupidity.

Her house and all the possessions inside were only worth $10,000? I can’t imagine that her home and
all of the stuff inside was only worth $10,000; unless she planned the fire and removed all the expensive
stuff before she allowed the fire to burn the house down.

The Pop-Tarts boxes say: always supervise children when using a toaster oven & DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED!!!

So in other words companies will have to make DIRECTIONS for their Product into a WARRANTY to prevent being SUED… W0W THERE is NO HOPE for HUMANITY now.
