Death (and this time we mean death)…OF THE PANTS!

October 25th, 2007 · 6 Comments

It looks like the sad sorry saga of the sodding pants may finally be coming to another close, although giving this man’s tenacity, amount of money and legal suicide, he could be sending legal representation from the afterlife.

According to Express and the Washington Post, Judge Roy Pearson is no longer a judge.

A city commission decided not to renew his position as D.C.’s Judge for the Office of Administrative Hearings. They also asked him to return his special judging pants by 5 p.m. Friday.

The city commission hearings are held in private, so we don’t have a transcript, but we can imagine they must have went something like this.

A CITY COMMISSIONER: Say, aren’t you that judge that sued the cleaners for spoiling his favorite pair of pants for $54 million?

ROY PEARSON: Why yes, I am.

A CITY COMMISSIONER: Get out.

    LOVE the transcript!

    HAHA!

Seriously, though, this guy is a jerk. (Maybe he’ll sue me for libel now.)

What? He doesn’t make enough money to buy a new pair?

Busniess must be pretty slow for him if he’s even THINKING about suing HARD WORKING PEOPLE. I heard about this a while back and thought to myself, “This guy must be pretty dumb to even think this would work.” and than I remembered the old man, the winnie and the “cruise controll” incident in Cali.

    What have we become?
