It’s officially over and I, for one, am sorry to see it go, mainly because I won’t get to do this anymore. (Sing along everybody!) Pants, we’ll miss you. Pants, we’ll kiss you (goodbye). You cover us so snuggly, whether you’re beautiful or ugly. Pants, we love you…always.
According to MSNBC, the judge has refused to review her decision to throw out the suit filed by Judge Roy Pearson against a local D.C. dry cleaners for losing his most special pair of pants.
Of course, the attorneys for the dry cleaners don’t expect this to be the end of it. They are preparing for an appeal. I hope they brought an extra pair of pants.
This is, unless there’s any major changes, the end for us. It’s one thing to cover a dumb lawsuit story once when it’s all said and done and throw out of court but this thing is being taken too far like a fifth Jaws sequel.
So when I say this is the death…of the pants. It’s the actual death…of the pants. Say goodnight pants. (Goodnight pants.)
