LOS ANGELES (Reuters Life!) - Two college fraternity buddies shown guzzling alcohol and making racist remarks in the “Borat” movie have lost their bid for a court order to cut the scene they claim has tarnished their reputations, court papers revealed on Monday.

The students sued the movie’s distributor and producers last month, saying filmmakers had duped them into appearing in “Borat” by getting them drunk and falsely promising the film would never be shown in the United States.

That’s right all you movie nerds who planned to camp out in front of your neighborhood “Movie Trading Company” to be one of the first people in line to buy a copy, your efforts will not be in vain but it won’t get you any closer to landing a girlfriend.

So far, the judge has only denied the frat boys’ request to remove their images from the film and stop the film from being released on home video because they failed to show “a reasonable probably of success on the merits of their case or that money damages alone would be insufficient to resolve their claims,” according to the story. That’s right, nothing heals wounds faster than cash. In fact, I cut myself shaving this morning so I glued a dollar bill to my face. It cleared right up.

The lawyer for the unnamed South Carolina students said the film’s release in the theater and on DVD has made it hard for them to find work. That’s true, not many jobs ask for candidates who have alcoholic dependency, backwards thinking and the ability to make racist remarks comical.
