and someone to be clear christmas is also pegan christ was born in october not december it was moved to dec. to prevent persecution. also the christmas tree is also pegan it was tradition for pegans before christ was even born… so to say dont selebrate easter when we honor the resurection of christ.. you are also saying not to celebrate jesus’s birth at christmas. celebratiting christmas and easter to honor christ is not evil. and i know all you who dont believe now have ammo to show hypocisy.. oh well cant please everyone

when are people are going to take responsability for themselves. and all you who dont believe thats fine youll find out when its time, ill pray for you all. no i am not pushing anything on you you have the right to believe what you want just as much as i do, i have no hard feelings tward you. any i know you do me because i am christian… oh well dont hurt my feelings at all. Jesus said that the world will hate us for his name sake, so it shows me He is real. no matter what you believe lets stop letting what we belive cause hate. yes there are christians out there who do judge you because you believe differently but we are all human in this life together lets live like we are instead of living like we are all cats and dogs, fighting all the time. and for those christians who shove the gospel stop we are to she not force anyone to believe what we do. instd show love, not judgement and also for the non believers. but we are all intitled to our opnion and beliefs.

Don’t believe in religion? Good for you, because there’s no other way to say it. Yous going to hell boy. And you’ll reply how religion is a bunch of nutcases, or that its stupid. Religion is real? Yeah right. Try proving it responses. Proving it? The proof is everywhere. Your problem, is you’re obstinate little pricks who really aren’t listening. If you were, you’d actually change. You see those christians, who go around trying to force their beliefs on you? You probably thought they were annoying little buggers didn’t you? Have you ever thought some of them, not all cause a lot of these christians don’t even know their own faith to well, but the people they do, they want you to know Jesus is real because they want you to live? Probably reply with another, well that’s BS! kind of response huh?
Tracy, you worry about the evangelists? I do to. Some of them really are, swindling hor-mongers trying to get your money. But not all of them. Are you really that narrow-minded into thinking that if one is a swindling bigot, all of them are? That’s the exact same thinking mode as saying, “since you Tracy, are such a bigoted little prick, your whole family must be too!”. Am I being unfair? I think you’re being equally unfair too in being so biased.

Honestly, I’m more of am atheist, mainly because of all the egoboo wanting religious teenagers. But is that the only kind of people? I’ve actually had a friend, an atheist like I was, who was going to the doctors because of brain cancer. And none of you will probably believe it because you people are so stubborn and just decide to label my words as “spurious”, or “not true.” But after he thought of giving his life to God, accepting Jesus as the Lord, his cancer was starting to shrink. Both of us, his family and mine were just shocked at it. Because he was refusing to take chemo and all of a sudden, it was starting to shrink. He was traumatized, he couldn’t believe that he was actually saved, and after that he started to go to church, and was doing a lot of things he normally wouldn’t have been doing. He was a shy kid, but after that, he was just going out and just witnessing to people.
And you’ll probably think this one of those, “stupid, I was dying, and then I saw God” kind of stories. But that’s how some people meet God. So why do I say all these things if I’m an atheist? if I was any religion because my friend actually urges me. Because he knows that if I don’t come to Christ I’m going to suffer in Hell. And that’s what I’m trying to show to the people here. It sounds like a rant, it ain’t. I’m not commenting about the actual topic? I think it’s a load of BS. The guys another typical greedy swine.
You want to say something back say it. And yes, I am taunting you.

what i think is funnier than the actual lawsuit (which is pretty freaking hilarious) are the comments…you guys are trying so hard to get everybody to know and accept what you believe when you don’t have to.
Ramses can believe god doesn’t exist if he wants to, you other people should respect that, if god made people how he wanted to, couldn’t he just make everyone believers too? People should be able to pull a crucible and yell out “God is dead!” without ten people explaining why they were wrong. Religion shouldn’t cause anger and hate…it shouldn’t even matter to anyone. If you ask me, religion is outdated, it was created as a way to explain the unexplainable (why the sun rises and sets, natural disasters, etc.), believe what you want and don’t force your ideas on others…you can explain your reasons, but don’t get angry, and if they don’t want to hear it, stop…no means no

They’re just trying to take your money. Ever seen where these people live and they life-style they live? Puleeze. Jesus was a modest man who didn’t need wordly possessions. Do you think God would really channel Himself through a person like this? Evangelists crack me up. But I don’t hate them; I worry for them.

And as for Rasmus, believe or don’t believe what you want. That’s up to you. That’s your given right as a human being to make choices for yourself.

I was under the impression that Christians were followers of Jesus Christ. Am I mistaken that he taught love and forgiveness. I see so many people calling themselves Christians and doing and saying unspeakable acts of hate in his name. How easy it must be to not accept responisibility for your own actions and blame others. If you have hatred in your heart that’s enirely up to you. Are you really going to hate in the name of God, or Jesus Christ, or whoever/whatever you believe in when in reality it’s entirely your own?

The point of being a god fearing christian is not to literally be afraid it’s to have respect. When you refer to him as your FATHER in christ he looks after you the way you would a child. He loves you provides for you and protects you. You would want your children to have a respectful fear of you and concequences. I know from experience that it is very easy to be caught up by the pressure to conform in church especially a big one. If everyone else is falling out or yelling even dancing or speaking in tounges you feel like you should be as well or something is different or wrong with you. By all mean I’m not saying you have to but if that’s how you express yourself. I mean really you don’t even have to go to church to be right with god and declare yourself a christian. But church is like AA for a person growing in the faith like myself. I’m not perfect but I go to church for support and building a network of others trying to grow as I am. So it makes it a lil easier not to drink while at the club or curse. And it is IMPORTANT to witness!!!! Bible says we should tell others of the good works he’s done and to SUPPORT but not badger or boast but be able to give supporting instances of when he’s worked in your personal life. If your living according to GOD’S way people should be able to see it.

Finally I know Jesus lovers’ comment seems strange you shouldn’t call it ignorant when you really don’t understand it. I have see my pastors wife be filled with the holy spirit and took off running and crying and shouting praises unto the lord. While funny looking she was running with her eyes closed and ran into the corner of the pew full speed and fell. I mean she never saw it coming!! LOL but she got up took her heels off and was just fine I don’t know that it felt good but she wasn’t hurt and she hit it to hard to fake that she was ok.
My point is when your filled the the holy spirit you don’t know what is happening that’s how people speak in tounges. it’s a private conversation with you and god that no one but himself can understand and it’s a bunch of random broken syllables that most people couldn’t do fluently.

I have a strange feeling in either case whether this guy wins or not he’s gonna have an awfully hard time. God knows the will of the heart he’s better then SANTA!!!

Everyone is missing the point here. The basis of it is guy falls, hits his head and sues church. Is the guy a fraud – maybe, did he really faint – perhaps, because of the holy spirit – yeah right, is it the churchs fault – depends if he was brain washed enough to think he could faint via the holy spirit I guess. I would be seriously looking at this guys medical history, psych history and watching him after the event to see how badly his injury really did affect him. Should the church pay up – only if there was something he could have fallen on which consituted a safety risk in the first place. I have to say without further evidence to go on the jury is out on this one. Alot of fraudsters in this world in and out of the church and in and out of the ministers/priests robes. I have seen hypnotists in churches working as preachers – supposedly working with people at the alter who fall down supposedly after being filled with the holy spirit. They were in fact hypnotised. Kinda leaves ya all warm and fuzzy about the church doesn’t it. I never could work out why you had to be a god fearing christian – why fear god if he was a loving god??? Now I have my answer – he can whack you on the head when you least expect it.

Wow, you call yourself a true Christian huh? Sorry, never met a true Christian who actually had the audacity to call themselves that. They identify themselves as a Christian, not a True Christian. If you are calling yourself that, and letting everyone know that, and labeling others as not being a Christian, and calling them “freakin stupid” and a moron then you are not being a true Christian. You would fit in fine with a lot of Christians though that like to judge others even though the Bible says not to do that sort of thing.

As for not being hurt if it were God, how can you say that? People are killed and tortured daily for their beliefs, so what’s a little bump on the head? I think the suit is a joke, don’t get me wrong, but the responses here so far are too.

If you want to be a “true” Christian then go out and serve people, help people (whether you are asked or not, and if they turn you away, go away peacefully). Don’t do it to bring people to God or your church, do it because you want to help, you want to volunteer your time and efforts, and don’t tell them you are a Christian unless they ask, and even then, don’t elaborate, don’t preach to them, people don’t like that (unless they ask further questions of course). Actions speak louder than words, which is why so many people hate the church, the actions don’t match the words way too often.
