You’ve got to love hypocricy. It’s just so funny. I mean, a person says they don’t want you to do one thing and then they turn right around do the very thing they told you not to do. It’s nature’s pratfall.
(From ACSblog.org) - Judge Robert Bork, one of the fathers of the modern judicial conservative movement whose nomination to the Supreme Court was rejected by the Senate, is seeking $1,000,000 in compensatory damages, plus punitive damages, after he slipped and fell at the Yale Club of New York City.
The man who led the anti-frivolous lawsuit crusade is filing a frivolous lawsuit. Oh the irony couldn’t be more delicious if it was covered in melted cheese and cajun spices.
According to the blog, the would-be Supreme Court candidate was scheduled to give a speech at the club when he slipped and fell. He claims the club should have had a guardrail in place on the stairs, which he says $1 million can ease his suffering. It would certainly cover a brain transplant.
