If you thought the round of RIAA lawsuits that asked for millions of dollars from people who downloaded a couple of songs without paying for them was nuttier than a Payday bar dipped in peanut butter and coated with a squirrel turd, then take a look at this.
Gizmodo obtained a training video produced by the RIAA that links music downloading to drug addiction.
No, musicians lead to drug addiction. Just look at every artist you’ve ever produced.
The video is designed to lobby District Attorneys’ offices across the nation to go after music piracy because it connects to every social and public quality of life issue they are trying to prevent. For instance, playing music supported by the RIAA causes hearing loss and noise pollution. Oh wait, they mean against the people who download it.
One of the “experts” in the video claims that music piracy can lead to and I quote “drug selling, “drug activities” and “some gun activity as well.” One of them even alleges (and admits they have no direct proof) that it also has links to terrorism. That’s right, that’s why 9/11 happened. Because we were hogging the world’s Backstreet Boys MP3s.

OMG… they’re desperate. Reminds me of the ‘Lowis runs for mayor’ episode of Family Guy. “9/11! Terrorism terrorism terrorism!!!” Complete bullshit. I just want to watch the idiots run themselves into the ground.

this is a really dumb move for the riaa they frist have no proof of this but if they did they would in the end be pointing the finger at them selves
cause peolple who download music get nor pay a dime for it and companys like limewire get something like 1 penny for every 100 songs downloaded from sales and or adds but they offer lots of other things to download so not all of thare traffic is mp3s and not all mp3s are of songs controlled by the riaa
but the content of these oh so vaulabe copy righted songs very well be connected to but not the cause of violent crimes but since they brought it up a this would be imposable to deny
if some 1 could find a coppy of this video
and post it on youtube and else ware this could bring down the riaa and i guarantee this will be very embarrassing for the riaa and will ruin thare credibility in the court system
