What’s worse than a dentist suing his insurance company because they wouldn’t cover a settlement for a lawsuit for putting fake tusks in one of her assistants while she was under the gas? A dentist winning his lawsuit against his insurance company because they wouldn’t cover a settlement for a lawsuit for putting fake tusks in one of her assistants while she was under the gas.
According to NBC 4 of Maryland, that’s exactly what happened.
Here’s the whole tooth (heh, that’s right folks, I write my own material. I expect to be fired by the end of the week).
The dentist put one of his employees under possibly for a procedure, the story doesn’t specify. During the procedure, he installs a pair of fake temporary boar tusks, takes pictures of them and shares the joy with the office. Employees said it was the best Julia Roberts impersonator they’ve ever seen.
The employee sues and settles out of court for $250,000 because the insurance company won’t front the dough for the suit. So he sues the insurance company and wins $750,000 plus the settlement. Fillings are on the hiz-ouse!
