Jilted lovers of the world, rejoice! Not only do you have the once in a lifetime chance to get up, close and personal to the former lover who’s garbage you are rooting through every night, but you can also make money off of it! Watch out Edward James Olmos, better keep that checkbook handy.

LOS ANGELES, Ca. (AP) — Charlie Sheen has settled a lawsuit against him filed by a woman who claimed that one of the characters on his hit TV show Two and a Half Men was based on her.

Ursula Auburn sued Sheen in April 2006, claiming the “wacky neighbor and female stalker Rose” on the show was based on her. The way Rose talks, dresses and looks all resemble Auburn, the lawsuit claimed. Sheen never sought Auburn’s permission, according to the suit.

Here’s the lowdown: Rose, the character on the TV show, creates a website about how Charlie Sheen’s character details Sheen’s character’s womanizing tendencies. Mrs. Auburn (oh, Auburn, Rose, colors, I think I smell another lawsuit) created a website in real life about her torrid love affair with the real Mr. Sheen.

Seriously, folks, is this why Al Gore created the Internet? So we can know the mating habits of movie stars and read gossip about what color Optimis Prime’s trailer is going to be in the Transformers movie and photoshop John Goodman’s head onto Ron Jeremy’s body? Pick up a book people, that is AFTER you read every square inch of this site. Sit, stay, good viewer.
