A woman in Texas left her cigarette burning in the car. Not surprisingly, the car eventually caught fire and injured her child. Blame herself? Of course not. She sued the tobacco company for not designing a cigarette that would stop burning.

Too bad she want be spending that money. Shouldn’t she be in prison for child neglect and endangerment.

Can you imagine the lawsuits by everyone if they constantly had to be relighting their cigarettes because they WERE designed to go out?

And ppl wonder why it takes so long to get a case in front of the judge its because we have ppl filing STUPID lawsuits like this one and others that I have read. Do ppl of the world not have any common sense. Apparently not.

Actually, the cigarette companies have designed “fire safe” cigarettes, that go out when not puffed on. However, these are only sold in NY, the only place with that safety requirement. The truth campaign did a commercial about that, asking if it was ok for somepeople’s homes to burn down, why not only sell the fire safe cigarette.
