Airports suck. You wait in long lines to wait in more lines where you’re pulled out of one line to wait in another line so you can go back in that line to get to another line that ends with (surprise!) a line.
Now one man, an attorney, has decided to sue an airline for making him miss his mother’s birthday, according to the New York Post.
Sounds pretty foolproof right. Well, you gotta be worried when a lawyer sues someone. It’s like giving the pyromaniac the lighter.
Just about everything on the flight went wrong. The plane was late. They missed their connecting flight. The airline lost their bags. In other words, it was a typically normal flight.
What’s worse is the tickets were free. He cashed in his frequent flyer miles to get them, so he’s suing over a free ticket. What kind of refund is he expecting? Air?

That is interesting. I don’t really blame the guy for wanting to sue. The airline industries really doesn’t give a crap about it’s customers. He is most likely going to lose.

Those points were earned, thus the tickets are not technically free. They have a net value and could have been cashed in for other rewards. If this is the same case I heard about he really only wanted an appology and reasonable compensation. The suit is his method of getting the airlines attention.

Totaly agreed, airports dont give a thought about there customers, its kind’a like a like a greedy little kid charging ants for him to throw them across the lawn. And if the airports are going to charge a ridiculously large amount, shouldn ‘t the flight and everything else be worth your money?

I think the airline and the attorney should get foot up the ass first the airline for not moving their ass and the attorney for bitching and should have by car, train, bus anything is better than being lazy prick

I think he has a good point sueing for this one. It’s not so much the ticket being free or not. It’s not like some gave this guy a free hand out. Have you ever looked at how frequent flyer miles work? You have to have like 30′000 to get a free flight and that might not even get you a round trip. He obviously flyes quite often to get free miles. It’s like fly 30 times get a ticket free.. I’ve lived out the state from my family like a lot of people and when you have to depend on a 3rd party you trust that they are going to value their own flight times as we count on them and work around the hour it takes to get through security. But I can most certainly understand being mad that the air line contributed to disappointing my mother especially if she was counting on me being there I mean that priceless who can call that senseless

I can see where this guy would be upset, but sometimes, sh*t happens. The airlines should care more about their customers, but I’d LOVE to see just one of you manage hundreds of thousands of people a day. It’s just that so many people fly every day, with those kinds of numbers, it’s inevitable that at least one person will get screwed over.
