That’s right, Starburst. We’re on to your little game. Oh sure, you might have thought you could fool us with your colorful wrapping and your fruit juicy goodness, but the charade is over. Dear God Starburst, how do you sleep at night?
ROMERO Mich. (Fox News) — Starburst Fruit Chews are exactly as their name would indicate: chewy. But one Michigan woman says the candies are so chewy, they should come with a warning label.
Victoria McArthur, of Romero, Mich., is suing Starbursts’ parent company, Mars Inc., for more than $25,000 for “permanent personal injuries” she claims she sustained after biting into one of their yellow candy in 2005.
They’re called Fruit Chews and this woman wants a warning label saying their chewy. I think they should come with a warning label that lets us know their edible.
She claims that after three chews, the candy locked her jaw and pulled it out of its joint. Apparently, her entire jaw is made out of Starbursts.
Seriously, how can you not figure out fruit chews aren’t chewy? That’s like someone not knowing that hard candies are hard. That’s right, someone will file a lawsuit against the Werthers’ Original people and every grand parent will be brought to their weak knees. I hope you’re happy.

How can people even think of lawsuits like this…I would be ashamed to even ask my lawyer if something like this was actionable!?!

You (author of this this article) used “their” incorrectly. The correct form: “they’re,” meaning they are.
e.g. “I think they should come with a warning label that lets us know *they’re* edible. “
