Jerry Colaitis, a Long Island resident, went to Benihana, a popular Japanese restaurant to enjoy a nice, entertaining dinner. Common situation right? Wrong! According to the now deceased Colataitis’ lawyers, he was attacked and killed by a shrimp! His attorney, Andre Ferenzo, claims that when the chef tossed a shrimp to Colaitis during the pre-dinner cooking show, Colaitis had to duck to avoid getting hit. Afterwards his lawyer claims he suffered neck problems, had to have surgery, had complications with the surgery, and died. As unlikely a scenario as it is, his family is seeking $10 million in damages.
