It takes a lot of guts to participate in a cross country bike race. I certainly wouldn’t have the balls to do it. Bike shorts always makes them chafe.
One guy not only had the balls to participate in a race, but he also had the balls to sue his employer who fired him for participating in the bike race when he had taken a sick day, according to the Daily Mail.
He took nearly three weeks of sick leave, but his employer realized what he was up to when they spotted a photograph of him participating in the bike race. They’re right. The camera does add 10 pounds of balls.
The worst part about the photo? He wasn’t wearing a helmet. Not only is a bad example to the workforce, but he’s also a fly in the face of public safety. The irony would be so delicious if, God forbid, he injured himself because he wasn’t wearing a helmet, but, uh oh, he’s out of sick days.

I’d like to know, officially, what is this guy suing his boss for? Even if he WAS sick, it’s not a legal entitlement to be taken off for sick leave. You’re allowed up to twelve weeks of unpaid (emphasis on that last word) time to attend to your FAMILY’S health concerns (like a relative died and you have to go to their funeral), but not first party sickness.
