Pioneer Press reported the result of a lawsuit against the Minneapolis newspaper, the Star-Tribune. The plaintiffs alledged that the newspaper inflated their circulation numbers to garner more advertising dollars. Whether or not the allegation is true, the plaintiffs walked away with a $15000 settlement and the lawyers? $40,000!
